Operation Homefront serves the families of active duty military (E1-E6) or post-9/11 wounded, ill or injured veterans of any rank. This specific location serves the Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson Counties.

Back to School Brigade provides school supplies to the children of qualifying veterans and military families!
Critical Needs program provides assistance with food, rent/mortgage payments, utilities and more. You must have served in the military after 9/11 to qualify. You may be able to receive baby items through the Star Spangled Babies program.
Donated Homes for Veterans are awarded by Operation Homefront. The homes are usually formerly bank-owned but some are newly constructed. If you are awarded a home, you will be asked to pay the property taxes, insurance, homeowner’s association fees, warranty and a portion of the closing costs. Routine inspections of the home, financial counseling and other requirements may apply.
Hearts of Valor provides wounded, ill, and injured warriors with a supportive community. Support for caregivers is also available in an online community.
Holiday Meals for Military provides holiday meal ingredients to military families.
Operation Homefront Village provides short term transitional housing for wounded warriors who are transitioning back to civilian life. Families live rent-free in the Village while they undergo the transition process. You will be expected to attend support groups, workshops, benefits briefings, resume writing classes and other scheduled events. Other requirements apply.
